He who is trustworthy in small things

A faithful person follows through without having to be reminded over and over. A faithful person keeps their word , because their word is their bond. A faithful person shows remorse when they inevitably fail. In the King James Version of Luke, chapter 16, verse 10, we can find this promise:. He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. Being faithful in the little things allows us to be entrusted with greater things, because we prove our humility, our willingness, and our consistency.

His willingness cured him. Being faithful in the little things cured him. Every believer is to live his live above reproach. No one should be able to accuse the believer of anything wrong, no matter how big or little. You may be a person who does not take physical things from a person, but do you steal time?

Or service? Handle those things in a trustworthy manner, so that God can trust you with greater things. The little steps of being trustworthy in a little thing, can lead to giant leaps later with the greater things. I pray today that God will give you the strength and wisdom to be trustworthy in little things; that God will guide you in making the right choices; that you will be known to be fully honest; and that God will be able to give you greater things.
