Can you raid in pvp gear mop
You'll get the full PvE stats except the PvP stats. This makes PvP gear feasible for PvE, and can fit in some gear easily as well. So to gain a favor gear , you can try PvP gear s , crafted and dropped gear s. PvP gear comes in two flavors, crafted ilvl and honor ilvl The crafted gear can generally be found on the auction house rather inexpensively.
Rare gear s are usually dropped from dungeons. The other way is to queue for scenarios. Once you can do this, try Arena of Annihilation. It will get you an ilvl weapon for completing the quest. A note for queuing for scenarios, a goal of reaching ilvl is needed. Scenarios and heroics both drop ilvl gear. If you update your major gear to ilvl , then you'll have an average ilvl of all your gear.
Since there are not many players want to run heroics again and again until all your gear s has been upgraded, you should firstly look to some significant pieces which will help boost your average ilvl for upgrading them. If so, wouldn't this be contradictory to the design philosophy behind this change? Quote: -- When you state that PvE gear will have a higher item level than "equivalent" PvP gear, are you referring to normal or heroic raiding gear?
Quote: -- What do the developers plan to do with PvP trinkets in order to make them best in slot for PvP again? Insignias and Emblems are underpowered in PvP while proc-based trinkets like Vial of Shadows and especially Cunning of the Cruel are far too powerful. For example, a stat that increases damage dealt to non-player characters only?
Quote: Daxxari, you asked me about a page and a half ago to state my example. I stated it, and you haven't responded to it. God forbid something remain a challenge or people encourage learning mechanics on there own to make something actually fun. I knew this would happen and its why I was so vocal about the need for a pvp stat. After MoP we lost so many good players and the game was overly dumbed down and ruined most aspects of pvp.
Community General Discussion. That is as simple as I can make it. Well the except trink, all pvp power stat on pvp gear is like bonus, the main stat, and secondary is almost same. The one you lose is socket bonus and set bonus. It is actually good to throw some pvp item with better secondary stat to replace some pve item. My guess is you can substract like 10 ilv for pvp item to get same performance with comparable pve item offset only.
Well heroic dungeon lvl is quite low, they give you blue gear. So for example a green item of iLvL X would have and this is just a speculative example either stamina, strength or stamina and strength,as long as the total value is within ,it can go either way,it gets a bit more complex with crit haste e.
TL;DR the reason why pvp gear is not good for pve is because of the pvp power and pvp resiliance,it also tends to sway more in favor of stamina instead of agility int or str,so while yes,it can work in pve,no self respecting raid guild would ever consider recruiting someone with a whole lot of pvp crap on his character.
Also the big bugbear in the room: PVE gear can be upgraded.
